I am a very liberal, single mother of two wonderful girls. (God help me through the teenage years!!) LOL

I have recently become unemployed due to some physical issues and also some emotional.  I am dealing with depression, anxiety, enemia, sleep apnea and also weight issues.  I am using this time away from work/ school to work on myself, spiritually as well as physically.  I am exploring different ideologies, philosophies and ways of life. 

I consider myself agnostic.  I am drawn to diverse deities and beliefs, though.  (for example:  the classic Greek pantheon, as well as older Mycenaea.  I also really love the personality of the Voodoo god Legba and Kali is my co-pilot!  haha)

I was raised Roman Catholic, confirmed in the Greek Orthodox Church, have a Wiccan/Pagan sister, a Kemetic niece, and my father is a priest in the Antiochan Orthodox Church.  So….this may explain some things!  haha!  I personally feel that every one of us has the right to practice whatever religion or belief system that one chooses.  As long as it does no harm to others..

Politically I am on the far left.  I hate our current administration with a passion.  I am looking forward to the day they are all impeached.  I am also looking forward to the world community holding George W. accountable for his actions- maybe in world court being charged with crimes against humantity.  A quote from my myspace page sums it up, I think:

I have never felt the antipathy or actual hate for an administration that I feel now! It insults my intelligence that MY president (which I never voted for) has lied to this country in the way he has and is not being held accountable for it!

We can drag a former president through the mud for having sex, and having a libido. But, we let Bush ruin our economy, throw us into what seems to be a new World War against “terrorism” resulting in massive loss of lives?? And somehow, this is OK? He can just walk away from this??

Is this what our country stands for? Since when have we all become such bleating sheep? It makes me SICK!
